MacKenzie "Mac" Davis
Co-Founder
Mac Davis is a Co-Founder and Principal Consultant at 180 OPEX Consulting with more than 23 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing maintenance, operations, reliability engineering, and process optimization. Mac transforms underperforming plants and teams by systematically addressing the human factors that drive errors in safety, quality, and production. His career highlights include leading maintenance and operations at Pepsi, NOW Foods, Duraline, and WestRock. Formerly a U.S. Army Aviation officer, Mac learned about leadership in high-stakes environments before managing multimillion-dollar assets as a civilian. Mac holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee (2015) and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from West Point (2003). He is Lean/Six Sigma proficient and brings deep expertise in the entire manufacturing process learned from decades on the floor.
Matthew Lyon
Co-Founder
Matthew Lyon is a lawyer, mediator, data analytics expert, and co-founder of 180 OPEX Consulting. After earning his law degree and pursuing a path as an attorney, he pivoted into the video game industry where he specialized in data analysis and product management. Matthew worked with cross functional teams to grow a variety of titles across multiple platforms for over a decade. His experience and training enable him to turn complex data sets into actionable strategy and achieve operational alignment. Matthew's additional expertise in conflict resolution enables him to bring passionate, conflicting parties into agreement in growth focused environments.
